Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 June 2025  |  Last updated: 20 June 2025

Please read these terms carefully before using our services or website.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into agreements under Thai law, and accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our services or website.

3. Service Description

We offer three fixed-scope legal services relating to Thai pension matters:

Each service covers the scope described on our website and in the written confirmation provided before work begins. We do not provide financial advice, investment guidance, or services outside the pension legal field.

4. Engagement and Scope

Work begins only after we have confirmed the applicable service in writing and you have accepted the scope and fee. Any additional work required beyond the confirmed scope will be discussed with you before being undertaken. No additional charges will be incurred without your prior agreement.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, structure, and design, is owned by Anurak Law. You may print or save sections for personal reference only. You may not reproduce, publish, or distribute this content without our prior written permission.

Documents we prepare for your case on your behalf (e.g. written summaries, formal submissions) are provided to you for your own use in connection with your pension matter.

7. Payment Terms

Fees are payable in Thai Baht (฿) as stated on our website and confirmed in writing. Payment is due prior to the commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer to a Thai bank account. Details will be provided in your written scope confirmation.

8. Refunds

If you cancel a service before work has commenced, a full refund will be issued. If work is already underway, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis in proportion to the work completed. Refunds are not applicable where a government office's decision or timeline is the reason for dissatisfaction, as this falls outside our control.

9. Timelines

We aim to complete Pension Statement Reviews within one to two weeks of receiving all necessary documents. Timelines for Reassessment Preparation and Appeal Representation depend in part on the response times of government offices and cannot be set or controlled by us. We will communicate realistic estimates and provide updates as stages progress.

10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on a professional best-efforts basis. We do not make representations about the outcome of any reassessment or appeal. Results depend on the facts of each case and the decisions of the relevant government bodies. Nothing on our website or in our communications constitutes a statement that a particular outcome will be achieved.

Information on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. It does not create a lawyer-client relationship unless we confirm this in writing following your engagement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our liability to you is limited to the fee paid for the specific service engaged. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of income, or losses arising from delays caused by government bodies or third parties outside our control.

12. Confidentiality

We treat all information provided to us as strictly confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required to carry out the service or as required by law. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement by written notice. If we terminate, we will refund any fees proportionate to work not yet carried out. If you terminate after work has commenced, fees for completed stages will be retained. Upon termination, all documents provided by you will be returned on request.

14. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve any concerns promptly and informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct discussion, it will be referred to mediation before any formal proceedings are initiated. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the courts of Bangkok shall have jurisdiction over any disputes that proceed to litigation.

15. General Provisions

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the date of last update. For services already engaged, the Terms in force at the time of engagement apply unless you agree to updated terms in writing.
